
CAMP HILL, AL—Wilson Scott of Pintlala, AL has been elected to the Board of Trustees of Lyman Ward Military Academy in Camp Hill, AL.
COL Wesley P. Smith, Chairman of the Board, said Scott was appointed to a two-year term last October.
Scott, son of bass fishing magnate Ray Scott, is currently the Director of the Montgomery Cardiovascular Associates Rehabilitation and Fitness Center. He attended Lyman Ward from 1991-1996, before graduating in 1997 from Jefferson Davis High School in Montgomery, where he played on the state championship football team. He attended Auburn University, graduating in 2002 with a B.S. degree in exercise science.
A native of Montgomery, Scott is married to the former Noel Hicks.
Established in 1898, Lyman Ward Military Academy is an independent, nonsectarian boarding school serving young men in grades 6-12. It offers a fully accredited, college preparatory academic program, as well as exemplary co-curricular programs in athletics and a strong emphasis on leadership.
