Football has long been a favorite sport at Lyman Ward. The Rangers compete as a member of The Alabama Independent School Association (AISA) in the AAA classification. LWMA fields both Varsity and Jr. High Teams.
Each year, Homecoming activities are held throughout the designated weekend. Special activities include a Homecoming Court with the crowning of the Homecoming Queen at the Friday night Football game. On Saturday, there is a parade to honor returning alumni and friends, as well as a banquet and the Homecoming dance.
Spring Football
We are going to be playing two 7-on-7 games at Kingwood Christian vs Kingwood and Evangel Christian on May 7th at 4pm.
